Holly Frean

Holly Frean is a contemporary artist who regularly exhibits at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and has won numerous accolades including the 2012 National Open Art Competition Painting Prize, which was awarded by artist Grayson Perry.

Although formally trained as an architect and draughtsman, Frean turned her attention to portraits, working mostly in oil paint and gouache and finding particular inspiration in the lives of artists. 

Frean has received commissions from numerous notable high-profile individuals and has also worked in collaboration with some industry-leading brands.
